Bicycle Safety Fair Prop Kits

Vermont SAFE KIDS and the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition have assembled a number of "prop kits" -- including all the basics that you need to put on a bicycle safety fair. The kits include traffic signs, cones, a line chalker, model cars/trucks, an advertising banner, etc.  A full list of contents is below.

You will need to provide handouts, chalk for the chalker, and additional items listed below.  You need a small budget for your safety fair to photocopy and purchase such materials.

The kits are available on a first-come, first-served reservation basis from 8 locations around the state.  The kit is packaged in a large plastic container with handles, plus a chalker, two bike pumps, and a bag containing the rolled banner and bus/truck models.  The kit will fit on the back seat of most cars.  It will fit in some trunks.  Plan to have space for the kit before you arrive to pick it up.
