VBPC board member Jenny Nixon Carter suggests the following “lollipop” bicycle route of 20 to 30 miles that begins and ends in Brandon.
Participants can expect gently rolling hills, some moderate climbs, views of Lake Dunmore, and a stretch of riding on Route 7.


From the Brandon town green, go east on Park Street. North (left) on Marble Street/Route 73. North (left) on Route 53/Lake Dunmore Road. Follow this road all the way around Lake Dunmore to Route 7 South. South on Route 7 to Fern Lake Road. East (left) on Fern Lake Road. South (right) on West Shore Road. Right at intersection with Route 53/Lake Dunmore Road. Right (southwest) on Forestdale Road/Route 73. West (right) on Park Street. Return to Brandon town green.
