Cross Vermont Trail Association

The Cross Vermont Trail will be a 90 mile path connecting towns across the state from Lake Champlain to the Connecticut River - already 30 miles are built and open to the public. The purpose of the Cross Vermont Trail Association, Inc. is to assist municipalities, recreation groups, and landowners in the creation and management of a four-season, multi-use trail across the state of Vermont for public recreation, alternative transportation, and awareness of our natural and cultural heritage.

RAPAC
RAPAC is a coalition of organizations, businesses and individuals committed to promoting a healthy, physically active lifestyle in Rutland County.


Vermont Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports

Jointly produced educational materials about “Sharing the Road” with bicyclists and pedestrians, and about the value of walking and bicycling to Vermont. They have also assisted with organizational development.

Green Mountain Bicycle Club
Assists with legal advice around bicyclists’ rights to the road, and in producing a publication “What to do if you are Hit by a Car”. The GMBC also supports the Coalition over and above a typical affiliate club, by contributing $2 per member household.


LEAP (Local Energy Action Partnership) Waterbury

LEAP’s mission is to "engage our community in reducing carbon emissions and promoting energy efficiency and the use of renewable resources in Waterbury and the surrounding area."

This free statewide newsmagazine dedicated to individual aerobic sports, publishes our monthly column on bicycle advocacy and education.

National Park Service Rivers & Trails Program
Assisting with our work to develop, update, and publish a database of bicycle & pedestrian organizations across the state.

Vermont SAFE KIDS

Jointly developing a statewide curriculum and trainings for bicycle safety courses (formerly known as "bicycle rodeos").

Better World Club

The Better World Club offers bicycle-only and car-and-bike membership, including insurance and free roadside assistance. Better World Club offers VBPC members a 10% discount on new membership. The VBPC receives a donation for every new sign-up.
